This charming restaurant in downtown Sandusky is great for a parents’ night (or lunch) out, or for older kids. The varied menu has great seafood and pasta choices, with elegant items like duck confit, gorgonzola-encrusted pork chops and truffle fries. If you do opt to bring the kids, there’s crispy chicken and spaghetti. Zinc doesn’t cater to young kids; it’s cozy and sophisticated, but not stuffy.
