This North Conway favorite may be the perfect Italian family restaurant — a retro décor of stained glass and chrome, with heaping helpings of pasta along with rich Italian regional entrees — marsala, piccata, Milanese. The restaurant has been operating since 1988, but the recipes date back generations before that.
Take the steak calabrese: a sirloin loaded up with broccoli rabe, hot cherry peppers, chicken sausage, and Italian cheese. All we’re saying is, better hope your hotel has a mini-fridge, ‘cause you’re gonna need it.
