Van Rensselaer’s (affectionately known as V.R.’s by the locals) has earned a reputation over the past three decades for providing some of Wellfleet’™s best quality food and service. They serve breakfast, lunch and dinner. While you can certainly get your favorite fresh Cape Cod seafood, this place has a little bit of everything for everyone. Breakfast includes dishes like Peter’s Choice (grilled corned beef hash topped with 2 poached eggs, toast or English muffin), Omelet V.R. (ham, mushrooms and cheddar cheese, toast of English muffin), and the Junk Yard Dog Omelet (chef’s choice omelet –“ a veritable breakfast grab bag). You’™ll also find a variety of Eggs Benedict platters, along with fresh pancakes and Belgian waffles. Dinner includes beef stroganoff, roast half duck, grilled filet mignon, half-pound angus cheeseburgers and, of course, fresh local lobsters, mixed seafood, fish & chips, lobster ravioli (a local favorite), baked stuffed jumbo shrimp and more.
