While not a full restaurant, you’ll find rich ice cream (and rich tradition) at the UNL Dairy Store, where the staff has been serving up premium handmade dairy products since 1917! The large, original location is found on the University of Nebraska – Lincoln East Campus as part of the Food Industry Complex Building. A small UNL Dairy Store ice cream stand operates inside the main city campus student union. You’ll find the Big 10 set of flavors always on the menu (like Scarlet & Cream, Vanilla, Chocolate, Caramel Cashew, Cookies & Cream, etc.) and some unique seasonal flavors always in rotation. Kid-size cones are available at a very low cost, making it an affordable treat for families.
