This off-the-wall joint is part of the Quality Inn & Suites Rainwater Park complex, which also houses a hotel, a small indoor water park, bowling alley and arcade. It’s a fun alternative to all the chain restaurants you’ll find in Sandusky – similar food, but a better atmosphere. Open for lunch and dinner, Thirsty Pony has funky (horse-themed) decor, a kids menu with plenty of options like burgers, pizza and fries.
