It may not be the best meal in town, but for diner classics, this restaurant in downtown Bar Harbor does it better than most. It’s no secret, however, that the main draw here is the decor. Starting with the full-size yellow cab perched precariously above the entrance, every available bit of wall space is covered with automobile memorabilia, including street signs, license plates, antique toy cars and vintage neon roadside advertisements. It’s guaranteed to be a conversation starter — or it might even keep your toddler quiet enough while admiring the scenery that mom and dad can enjoy a few minutes of the meal in peace.
