At this privately run restaurant — one of two by the same name at Walt Disney World — kids will find an expanded menu of options, along with a continuation of the animal theme. A massive saltwater fish tank, rushing waterfalls and lush scenery offer a nice detour from the usual dining room. Sporadic “thunderstorms” and Animatronic animals, which spring surprisingly to life, increase the noise factor and could, quite frankly, scare small children silly. Kids’ meals (nine different options) come with a choice of corn, carrots, mashed potatoes, kettle chips and a banana or apple. Drinks are available for an additional fee. Order a sparkling Volcano dessert. There’s another location at Downtown Disney. Advance reservations are recommended.
