Although Pat O’Brien’s is famous for creating the infamous Hurricane concoction, it is also home to a casual courtyard restaurant where families can dine. (And maybe mom and dad can shade a small drink.) The French Quarter restaurant serves up classic Creole dishes, including Alligator Bites, New Orleans Shrimp Remoulade, Seafood Étouffée and Focaccia Muffaletta. Kids’ menu items are $7 and include shrimp, chicken fingers or burgers.
