A great place to stop and refuel while boating around the Abacos, Nipper’s serves hearty fare along with views, from the two-level pool bar, of sand and water that out-sparkles precious gemstones.
Lunch is all about beach food — burgers, conch, and lobster salad sandwich (in season). The dinner menu features fish du jour, rib-eye, grilled chicken, and, on weekends, pasta specialties. A kids’ menu lists a half-dozen typical offerings.
Enjoy open-air dining among an explosion of colorful umbrellas and painted wood along one of the Bahamas’ best beaches. Its legendary Sunday wild boar roast buffet begins at noon and brings in up to 1,000. The all-you-can-eat buffet includes all the fixings — macaroni and cheese, peas and rice, Cajun coleslaw, potato salad, corn custard, and bread pudding.
