Mountain View Restaurant serves exactly what its name implies — close-up views of Cheyenne Mountain. Located at Cheyenne Mountain Resort in Colorado Springs, the restaurant also serves breakfast, lunch, dinner and brunch in an atmosphere that’s both rustic and upscale.

While a la carte options are available — try the Cheyenne Burger, made from buffalo meat and topped with Havarti cheese and arugula — the buffets are most popular (especially for Mother’s Day and other holidays). The breakfast buffet includes fresh pastries, yogurt, fruit and eggs, while the lunch and dinner buffets feature salads, soups and meat entrees. Kids’ pricing is available for the buffet and a la carte options, the latter of which include chicken fingers, grilled cheese and the like.

Breakfast is served 6:30 to 11 a.m., Monday to Saturday, and 6:30 to 9 a.m. on Sunday; brunch is served from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Sundays; lunch is served 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday to Saturday; and dinner is offered 6 to 10 p.m. daily.
