This classic American-style restaurant is on the eastern end of Main Street, about a mile from the Shakespeare Festival. It’s a great place to start your day with a big breakfast as you head toward downtown. In fact, most locals say the Morning Glory offers up the best breakfast in Ashland, Oregon.

Big and best, that should be their motto, because the servings here are huge. We’ve never seen bigger omelettes and waffles, so consider sharing with each other if you don’t want to leave half your plate uneaten. Unlike their meals, the restaurant itself is a bit on the small side, so expect a wait. Once you’re seated, they get your food out to you quick. The freshly baked blueberry muffins, by themselves, might just fill you up. Leave room, however, for the best bacon you’ve ever tasted.
