This pizzeria ticks all the boxes when it comes to kid-friendly dining that keeps mom and dad happy too: the restaurant opens early (10:30 a.m., Monday through Friday and 11 a.m. on weekends) and closes around 11 p.m.; has won “Best of Anchorage” honors for both best pizza and best beer (handcrafted ale) in town; and serves up cheesy breadsticks, ginormous pizzas, soups and sandwiches, several types of salads, and luscious desserts with names like “Death by Peanut Butter” and “Moose Pie.” The walls are papered with the labels of Moose’s Tooth microbrews and seating is provided at wooden tables and booths.
