This fine-dining restaurant (best for families with teens) is located within Mesa Verde National Park at the Far View Lodge. Open for breakfast and dinner from mid-April through mid-October, the restaurant serves up non-traditional Pueblo Indian-style fare, such as Prickly Turkey strips with prickly pear cactus red pepper jam, wild boar sliders with chipotle pita bread, and elk Sheppard’s pie. Breakfast is served 7 to 10 a.m. and dinner from 5 to 9:30 p.m. Reservations are not taken.
