Melaza Bistro brings a taste of the Caribbean to a tiny town in Vermont. Both small and big plates are available, as is a kids’ menu (for ages 12 and under) that includes quesadillas, pasta with butter or marinara sauce, and chicken tenders. Outdoor and indoor seating are provided.

Melaza Bistro is open for dinner only, 5:30 to 8 p.m. on Sundays, Wednesdays and Thursdays, and 5:30 to 9 on Fridays and Saturdays; it is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays.
