With a name like “Mahoney’s,” especially in Cape Cod, you think you’d be walking into a run-of-the-mill Irish pub. Well, this delicious, upscale dining experience is neither Irish, nor run-of-the-mill, and draws wait lines of anxious patrons even in Cape Cod’™s off-season. The menu offers something for everyone, including rack o’ lamb and barbecued ribs, Kansas City style half chicken, pan roasted lobster, sole almondine and soft shell crab. Vegetarian fare includes grilled polenta and portabella mushroom, and vegetable primavera. Two heavily recommended local favorites are the fried calamari and their famous tuna sashimi. While the menu does offer a variety of nachos platters, there is no distinct kids menu, suggesting this restaurant may be better for families with older children.
