It’s hard to miss the Hard Rock in the Inner Harbor with it’s larger-than-life guitar rising into the sky and serving as a rock ‘n’ roll beacon. I’m not big on dining at chain restaurants when exploring a new city but my music-loving son persisted and after giving in, I was surprised by how much this iconic restaurant remains exciting to newcomers. Although it has been more than a decade since my last visit, the kids loved the memorabilia and music videos, and the kids’ menu dubbed as a multi-page activity book that kept them entertained until lunch was served.
