Every local on the island will send visitors to da Conch Shack for the best and freshest seafood meal on the island. The simple and inexpensive eatery is a collection of picnic tables located right in the sand. While your conch is fried, curried, sautéed or stir fried, kids can witness conches being split from their shells right on the beach. (You can buy polished conch shells to take home.) Lobster, group or snapper may also be available, depending on the day’s catch.
