If you didn’t go to Brewery Ommegang, did you even go to Cooperstown?
This world-famous brewery is a MUST for any trip to Cooperstown, New York. The kid-friendly brewery offers tours, tastings, and a full-service bar and restaurant that serves flights, appetizers (order the frites), hearty entrees (think Hungarian goulash), and desserts. Both indoor and outdoor seating are available, as are lawn games and, on select days, live entertainment. Brewery Ommegang also hosts concerts, with past performers including Norah Jones and Jack White.
As for the beer, you can’t go wrong with anything that’s brewed here—especially if you like Belgian beers. The brewery is known for its line of Game of Thrones-inspired beers, with names such as King in the North (Imperial Stout) and Hand of the Queen (Barleywine Ale).
