The Hudson River Valley is home to the famed Culinary Institute of America, and visitors have a chance to sample the dishes made by tomorrow’s famous chefs. Younger kids may not appreciate the restaurant, but older kids and children who have grown up trying new foods may like it. Bocuse offers classic French cuisine in a sophisticated restaurant, which is open for lunch 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., and dinner from 6 to 8:30 p.m. It’s closed on Sundays, Mondays and major holidays. Reservations are highly recommended.
