The uber-popular Great Barrington pizza place (now with a branch in Pittsfield) has patrons lining out the door for its organic pies that sometimes seem less a pizza and more like a fresh salad on an organic sourdough plate. Of course, you can get them without all the green stuff if the kids blanch, and they’ll still benefit from the yeast-free crusts and fresh mozzarella that makes the pizzas healthier than standard pizzas — if you want them even more nutritious, order a crust made of spelt, a grain richer in vitamins, protein and fiber. Either way, Baba Louie’s sweet garlicky pizza sauce makes them so delicious, the kids will never know the difference.
