Asheville Pizza & Brewing Company has three locations in Asheville, but we recommend the one on Merrimon Avenue. It offers an arcade and movie theater (yes, you can drink beer and watch a movie — in fact, there’s a bar right inside the theater); kids’ movies are usually featured in the afternoons. There’s also a restaurant that serves delicious pizzas, along with other kid-friendly fare, such as burgers and chicken fingers. Did we mention the building looks as if a ship has crashed into it?
Other locations can be found at 77 Coxe Avenue (where tours are also offered) and 1850 Hendersonville Road. All locations are open daily, 11 a.m. to 12 a.m. (or later).
