It’s just not right to come to Kansas City and not visit any of its more than 100 barbecue joints for which the city is famous. Burnt Ends (the chopped up burnt ends of a brisket) is the official Kansas City dish, which can be served in a sandwich or as an entree. Located near the 18th and Vine Historic District, this is Kansas City’s oldest barbeque joint, one most frequented by visiting dignitaries and equally popular with locals.
