At Pelican Hill in Newport Beach, Calif. families can stay in spacious bungalow or villa accommodations. Units feature ocean views, up to four bedrooms and large TV’s with DVD players. Camp Pelican runs activities for kids and teens (in two separate groups). Kids enjoy video games, karaoke and a children’s pool in a 1,450 outdoor space. The Camp is open daily and it is about $90 for a full-day session. Parents may want to visit the full-service onsite spa. The Pelican Golf Club is on the premises, offering two prestigious golf courses that overlook the ocean. Coliseum Pool is a large, circular pool made of a million hand-laid glass tiles. When you work up an appetite, stop by one of the three onsite restaurants. Two onsite cafes provide quality wake-me-up drinks and light snacks. The beautiful Crystal Cove State Park is a short complimentary shuttle ride away.

We do an annual family stay-cation here because it’s such a beautiful resort.
Also pretty baby friendly. We requested for a crib for our room in advanced and it was set up before we checked into our villa. They even had a little plush toy pelican for our daughter!
The offer pick up and drop off shuttle service to crystal cove and a bunch of amenities like a bag of towels and toys for the kids! Didn’t use a service but will next time!
Food could be a little bit more diverse as it’s mostly American cuisine and Italian. Otherwise service was amazing.
