See attached photos, and don't stay at this hotel. Room was damaged and not properly fixed. Large patch of mold in the bathroom above shower head; chairs in dining area of unit losing their covering/finish; door to entrance of unit damaged and not fixed, does not hang properly. Let's just talk about the door, as it may be code violation of some sort, I don't know. At some point there was damage to the door, which caused it to hang improperly and make the top hinge buckle and pull away from the frame (this is on the right side of the door). There is damage to the left side of the door frame that someone has tried to fix BY HAMMERING A DRYWALL SCREW into the door frame itself. Since the door does not hang correctly the swinging bolt/lock does not function correctly. This room should not be available for use until this is fixed. C'mon Marriott, you are better than this.

I stayed twice within a month for work and found the location to be ideal for those with or without a car during your stay.
My room was clean with a full sized refrigerator, dishwasher, stove top and complete with necessary dishes. While I went out to eat when I was there if I stayed longer that option to cook my own meals would have been welcomed. It is a few blocks from the railroad but as I slept with my white noise app I didn't really notice it. If you are a "Fixer Upper" fan the Magnolia Silos/stores are only a few blocks away as are several restaurants and bars. I enjoyed the 900 Degree Pizza place, Ninfas, Crickets and Diamondback that were only 3 or 4 blocks from the hotel.
Monday - Wednesday they offer apps, burgers, beer and wine from 5-8 pm which allowed me to have a few beverages without going out to a bar by myself which was appreciated.
The breakfast offered a wide assortment of fresh fruits, proteins and carbs. Each day you could select from a waffle, eggs, two sides of meat, either oatmeal or grits, various yogurts, fresh fruit, including many options of toppings for the oatmeal. I liked the flavored coffee syrups as a sugar alternative for my coffee.
I did not use the pool or onsite workout room but both appeared neat and not busy or crowded.
I walked across the street to the Brazos Riverwalk and with all the new additions to the area I put on several miles just walking around Waco to see the sights.
You can purchase additional snacks or beverages from the front desk too.
The staff was extremely polite.
