Unlikely other Savannah hotels, this historic row cottage hotel is located in Savannah’s historic district. The Roundhouse Railroad Museum and Battlefield Memorial Park are within walking distance of this hotel. Kids will love playing in the outdoor swimming pool while parents relax at the surrounding lounge chairs and umbrellas. The fire pit is ideal for nightly family gatherings and the fitness center is a good spot to keep up with workouts. Private cottages house the spacious suites which include studio and one and two bedroom suites are all connected by a pretty courtyard. The suites feature a sleeper sofa, fully equipped kitchens (refrigerator, microwave, stovetop, dishwasher) with a separate living and dining room area, flat screen televisions and complimentary Wi-Fi throughout the property to stay connected. The hotel is pet friendly so no need to leave your furry friend at home. Families can start each morning off with the complimentary hot breakfast buffet too.

The hotel room was spacious and had some wasted space. I guess you should expect that from a renovated building in the downtown area. The faucet in the kitchen sink was difficult to shut off. The breakfast and and social hour were also good.

Stayed in one of the cottages, which was a very unique experience. Our suite was well-maintained, with good customer service. We were out and about a lot, but we were able to utilize the (free) street parking throughout our stay. The hotel is on the edge of downtown, so it was not too loud or busy, but within walking distance to downtown and river attractions. The free shuttle is about a block away also. The only reason I can't give five stars is the evening reception is very weak. Stayed three nights and the food didn't look good any night. The breakfast was good, though, and the ladies who worked at breakfast were extremely friendly and helpful.
