My family checked in at 11 pm, to break up a trip driving home from Canada. I used Marriott points to book it, because I didn't want to spend $280-ish, for a less than 12 hour stay. Sometimes when you stay on points, hotel staff can treat you like the stay was given for free, instead of earned. Not so at this hotel! The evening front desk guy, "Night Bob" was wonderful and went out of his way to offer things that made our brief stay more memorable. He put extra pillows in the room. We were upgraded to a larger accommodation to give all of us more space. Later, he knocked on the door with a Welcome bag, that usually only the highest Bonvoy members receive. The morning staff was equally nice and I really enjoyed my conversation with Zoe, about my previous trip to her home country, Ireland. I felt the short stay was worth using my points because the hotel was extremely clean, well appointed, the staff was wonderful -- it was an example of what us long-time Marriott members expect to get when travelling with the brand.

We stayed on route to Burlington Vermont. I had been here before.
We used Marriott’s BonVoy program so our 8:30 PM check in took less than a minute.
Parking was a little tight but I think we got the last space. The rooms can be a bit far from the one elevator but that was a small problem.
Our room was perfect. It was a one bedroom suite with a living room, kitchen, bedroom and bath. It was more than enough for a one night stay.
Breakfast was ample with eggs, sausage, waffles and all kinds of breads, coffee and beverages. I broke my normal eating habits and had a half waffle.
The hair dryer didn’t work so we reported it to the front desk. The GM stopped by our table and told us it had been replaced already.
My only criticism is that as we left, some of the door trims were dirty. They could use a good scrubbing or paint job.
Also, it’s a little hard to find. It’s right on the highway but one has to drive about a half mile past and double back on another road. I’d been there before so I knew the routine but I didn’t see any signs advising what to do.
