Residence Inn San Diego Scripps Poway Parkway offers families a reasonably priced, clean and friendly place to stay, just outside San Diego.

This newly renovated, 95-room property provides guests with a home-away-from-home. Located just minutes away from Rancho Bernardo, Poway and Scripps Ranch, and a short 25 minutes from San Diego and its beaches, zoo, Sea World and all the other family-friendly fun in the area, guests are never too far away from fun.

Rooms vary, ranging from Studio guest rooms to 2 Bedroom Larger Suites. But each comes with at least 500 square feet of space, air conditioning, 27-inch TV’s with premium cable, iPod docks, king or queen beds, a pullout sofa, full kitchens and baths, coffeemakers and more. Cribs and rollaways are also available.

Onsite, guests enjoy a complimentary hot breakfast buffet daily, along with an evening beer and wine social. Families are also welcome to check out the onsite restaurant, Edge of the Ranch, which is open for lunch and dinner and serves traditional American cuisine. There’s also a fitness room and outdoor pool located on the premises.

Cozy & Sweet

Enjoyed a nice couple of days stay. The complex is a little older but very clean and cozy. We had a 2 bedroom & 2 bath suite with a kitchenette. I definitely recommend a 2 bedroom if traveling with kids. The kitchen is small but it made it easy to fix a quick snack or reheat leftover. Staff was super friendly and accommodating. Continental breakfast was tasty, sitting area wasn’t too small & there was extra sitting area outside. Property had tennis court, basketball & pingpong. I will definitely stay here again should the need arise.

Great Spot to Stay When in This Area

I stayed at this residence in for three nights while in the area to lead a workshop. It was a fine quality Residence Inn. My room had all the amenities you expect at Residence Inn, and was very clean, quiet and provided three great nights of sleep. The folks at the desk were super helpful and the breakfasts were varied and delicous.
