We booked a 2 bedroom suite as my husband and I were travelling with 2 small kids (ages 4 and 1) as well as my parents.
The configuration of the room with 2 private bedrooms and 2 bathrooms was perfect for us.
The hotel was not located in the middle of the Pearl district, but we could still walk to many stores/restaurants.
Parking was free after 7pm and we parked on the street for $4 as we arrived late afternoon. The valet was asking for $44 which seems crazy to me.
Breakfast was excellent with a great selection of bacon, scrambled eggs, oatmeal station, assortment of breads, waffle making station and of course cereal and yogurts. Staff was very attentive in refilling items and making sure tables were cleaned promptly.
The only minor complaints were that the shower in 601 was backing up, but when I told them about it at check out they were eager to fix it right away. Also the soap/conditioner/body wash was stuck to the wall and the shampoo was running close to empty and difficult to get out. I understand about the environmental rationale behind this (and support it), but please make sure they are full!
Staff at the front desk were kind to my kids and there was a “treasure chest” for them to root through and it made them both really happy.
All in all, great value for money, clean and quiet with an excellent breakfast.
