No resort fees, free breakfast, no slot machines in the lobby, and I was able to check in at 10:30am. These would never happen in a hotel on the strip.
The room is big with a comfortable bed, full kitchen, and a sofa. Breakfast spread is good, oatmeal, fruits, yogurt, eggs, sausages, salads, and more. The area is nice and quiet. It's a great alternative to the strip craziness.

There is a pretty big event at the Convention Center this week, so perhaps I can't judge overall value adequately. Not cheap this week, and it's less than I expect from a Residence Inn. It's close to the airport (plus and minus), and close to but off the strip. It's just over a mile to the Convention Center - unfortunately the monorail doesn't go near.
Check in process was good - did mobile check in and the room was available early. Room 1020 is the smallest RI room I've ever seen. Hardly a studio - about what you get for a large hotel room. When flight departures are to the north, it's pretty much on the flight path and you hear jets a lot. Also close to the elevator so you hear the "ding-ding" quite a bit.
Breakfast is good. I didn't have time for the happy hour. I suppose you can factor in the food for value. Easy walk to Mortons, Del Frisco, Fogo de Chao, Lawry's the Prime Rib, so if you want steak this is the neighborhood to be in.
Solid "average"
