Located just 25 minutes south of the Nashville International Airport, the Residence Inn Franklin Cool Springs offers a good base in the area for families large and small. Suites have double, queen and king beds, as well as separate living and bedroom areas. Fully equipped kitchenettes are available and you can also enjoy the daily complimentary breakfast. And guests are encouraged to enjoy the indoor pool and basketball court here, too.
The hotel is an easy drive from Nashville and provides quick access to attractions like the Grand Ole Opry, historic Franklin and the Nashville Zoo without being in the center of all the action. There are several restaurants and golf courses nearby as well. For something different, you and your family can sign up for a tour to learn the history of downtown Nashville.

Working in the area and stayed a few nights at this hotel. I generally like stay in Marriott hotels. My overall experience was great. The staff was friendly. The hotel was clean and is conveniently located near the job site. There are also plenty of restaurants and stores nearby. I think the mall is less than 10 minutes away. My only issue was when I arrived there were towels on the side of the tub that appeared to have been previously used. I'm sure this was just an oversight. The smart tv allowed me to log into my Netflix account so I had options and I was able to put my food in fridge and warm it on the stove or in the microwave. Didn't really use any other amenities as I was there for work but great stay.

I'm usually a fan of Residence Inns.
I reserved a one bedroom king suite on-line with a confirmation with my credit card on file a few weeks before my trip.
I arrived a bit early...around noon...and they checked to see if a room was ready. They called the housekeeper and she said it wouldn't be ready for about an hour. That was ok by us and we headed out for lunch.
Upon our return we checked in and entered our room to find it wasn't what we booked a few weeks before. Actually it was a king studio. I called the front desk and they informed me that that was all they had. No 1 or 2 bedroom suites. Just studios.
I didn't know this, but Marriott doesn't guarantee a room type. Just a room.
Unbelievable a major chain like this can't figure out their available inventory and show that on their official website as available to prevent issues like this.
They did mitigate the disappointment by giving me more of a break on the price for the studio and not the local managements fault. The fault lies with corporate and should be addressed in this "high tech age".
Free breakfast was adequate, pool/spa was clean and well maintained. Room was clean. We had an issue with housekeeping keeping the coffee, popcorn, hair conditioner and dishwasher soap replenished daily. Missed various items daily which I had to go down to the front desk to get. One day after returning to the room, found no regular coffee. Went to the front desk and asked for two packets of regular coffee, but they informed me there was only one left. Wow.
I'll still book Residence Inn, as I hope this was just a bump in the road. Hope Corporate changes their website to show actual inventory. And hope the housecleaning staff is instructed to be more attentive to things that need to be replenished.
