I am a Hilton person, but decided to give this Residence Inn a shot. Nice! I would say it’s nicer than most hotels in Dothan. (Certainly way above the Courtyard). Check in was nice, quick, and friendly. The carpets and walls through the halls are clean and fresh smelling. The room was well kept. It could use more plugs near the bed and the sofa, but I brought my own strip, so I survived!
The breakfast was good- better than the free breakfasts at most hotels (except Embassy ????) and I urge you to try Ms Jennifer’s GRITS! They are so creamy and delish!
My only recommendation for this hotel would be- in giving points for those who refuse maid service, please have them bring their garbage down to the front desk, or anywhere other than leaving it outside in the hall for all of us to see and smell...including bugs like roaches and ants. I saw dirty grocery store meat containers,not rinsed, sitting in the hall...even some stuff that should stay in the bathroom or wrapped up and not made public for all of us- kind of disgusting & nasty. I don’t blame the hotel, but people do things at hotels they would NEVER do in their own homes.
I would stay here again, but maybe prefer a floor with no trash in the hall!

Me and my dear husband stayed here passing through to get to Florida. Upon check in We met the check in clerk Catlyn. She was very sweet and helpful. She welcomed our dog (Chasten) with a head rub and a treat. She put us on the first floor which was great so we could be close to an exit for chasten. The was very clean and spacious. Reminds me of a little apartment! We are not Marriott members but will become one. Breakfast was crowded but I'm glad we stayed because it was delicious. We will stay here again next time we pass through Dothan Alabama
