When my friend and I checked into the residence inn at Virginia Beach, we could not believe the stares and the disgusting looks the hotel staff gave one of us. My friend is a transgender and I still cannot believe how any hotel would employ these animals. Do not, and I do not, stay at this hotel. Our neighbors who we met when we got here were kicked out for apparently a noise ordinance. I can promise we didn’t hear a single thing from that room and we were the adjoining room! Insane what these people do and how they treat their guests who spend so much money at this disgusting trash hotel! Can’t believe they would still be open with this kind of atmosphere!

Marriott stole our money and we will not be staying at one again. Was told we would receive our daily rate of 198.00 and later learned they charged us 400.00. We requested to speak w/ the manager- Brandi and all the lady could tell me at the front desk was that she had let her know. I asked to speak to her and she said "shes unavailable right now" so I asked for Brandi's business card.. Sent her numerous emails and left multiple voice mails with no response... terrible customer service. Check in was 2 hours late with two babies, a dog, and very limited parking on site (they valet your car a few blocks away so there is no where to park on site). Asked for a prorated fee for our first night because of the late check in and the guy at the front desk said he would award us 10,000 marriot points which again we later realized we never received. Will NEVER stay here again and will choose Hilton or other competing hotel chains.
