This updated Renaissance made for a very relaxing and enjoyable long weekend getaway. Our first time in PS and we wanted to be close to downtown PS. We walked everywhere. Fantastic restaurants close by. Pool area was super. An abundance of towels, iced water, and lounge chairs. Very decent food (we had the hamburger) and drinks served poolside. Breakfast at the hotel was also really good. Great friendly service all around. Free shuttle to airport was handy, although from the airport you have to phone them to make arrangements for pick up. We took Lyft and it was roughly $10. Air conditioning (at least in our room) was quiet and powerful--worked great.
Attentive housekeeping. Very relaxed vibe. Nothing too fancy--just very decent quality. It is afterall a Renaissance, and not the Ritz. Good value.

This is an amazing place. The staff from front desk to cleaning staff are some of the most courteous people that I have had the pleasure of staying with. I would highly recommend this as an excellent place for your next trip.
