Reviews

Great location and a lovely hotel.

by Mikem28

The location is excellent for easy access to shopping, restaurants and the metro for further afield. The rooms are spacious and very different to the usual corporate design. Our bedroom was extremely comfortable with a small but perfectly adequate bathroom, a very comfortable bed, a decent sized TV and a quirky design. Housekeeping was excellent and the provided amenities of a good quality. Staff throughout were friendly and highly professional. Reception and concierge were brilliant with great advice and nothing too much trouble. The ‘East’ restaurant provided excellent pan Asian food with a great bar but at times was extremely busy with customers and dance music throbbing away. Not the place for a quiet meeting but perfect for the young executive clientele. The roof garden bar is a quieter ambience and offered more traditional food. Breakfast was very good with a freshly cooked menu that is far better than the usual buffet style. An excellent hotel at this price that is quirky, offers great accommodation and food but not for those seeking a quiet refuge.

Uneventful stay

I spent two nights here while in town hanging out with some friends. Nothing particularly special, but nothing bad. Location is pretty good downtown. The hotel is reasonably new, everything was clean, all was good.
