Overview

Situated right in the heart of downtown Montgomery, the Renaissance Montgomery Hotel & Spa at the Convention Center is also the location of the Montgomery Performing Arts Center. The hotel’s location places it an easy walk away from Riverwalk Stadium, the Rosa Parks Museum and the Civil Rights Memorial. Double Rooms that can accommodate up to four guests are available for reservation. Larger families can reserve Junior Suites that provide enough sleeping space for up to five guests. A rooftop swimming pool, free cribs and complimentary Wi-Fi are amenities offered to families staying at the hotel. Families may choose to dine at one of the hotel’s three onsite restaurants for breakfast, lunch or dinner.

Would be great if not so noisy

The Renaissance would have been great if it had not been so noisy. On both nights of my stay a live band played extremely loud music which could be clearly heard blocks away and was almost deafening in my room. On the first night they shut the music down after getting multiple complaints but on the second night it continued until around 10:30, audible even over the TV turned up loud. So if you're tired after a long day and want to get to sleep early you'll probably be disappointed. If noise does not bother you the hotel is quite good. I would have given it at least four stars, but since a quiet room is very important to me I was very disappointed.

Great Place for Family to stay for a wedding

The Renaissance is so accommodating and friendly. It is in a great location near the Hank Williams Museum, the Legacy Museum, and the Alley. Approximately 80 family members stayed at the Renaissance. We were there for a big southern wedding.
The hospitality suite was excellent....My only regret is that we have no more family members to marry in Alabama!
