We were supposed to stay in Green Turtle Cay and because of Dorian we had to make a quick decision as to where to go, when I found Regatta Point I had inquired about the location and amenities, Nancy called me personally as was very thorough and very pleasant to speak to. October is down time in Exuma but we had no problem finding places to eat and activities. We rented a boat from Minns which is a short walk from Regatta Point and tied up conveniently next to our room where we loaded our boat with provisions for the day. We didn't have a car but Nancy provided us with a taxi service (Clayvon) who was able to take us to and from spots that were not walkable around George Town for a reasonable rate, not to mention he was always there within minutes of calling him. The room we stayed in (downstairs of Nancy) did have air conditioning and was clean and very comfortable, we were able to enjoy wine and beer on the patio watching the boats come and go, we also explored the grounds and enjoyed sitting on the point as well. I would highly recommend Regatta point we truly enjoyed our time and conversing with Nancy about things to do around the island.

Last February and again this year, I've needed a place to stay while waiting for my husband to sail into George town. I was incredibly lucky to get a room at this lovely, small resort. It is close to everything in George Town, yet on a very quiet point with it's own little sandy beach.
The best part of the visit: Nancy She checks you in and offers useful information about George Town. She made my stay easy and enjoyable. Thank you Nancy.
