Oct 2019 - We have stayed here in previous years and always found it to be very acceptable. Now the rooms are all non-smoking and remodeled. VERY NICE !
We had a reservation, thankfully, as we had a major car accident and lost our vehicle.
Once the police of Nitro, WV brought us over to the hotel, Tiffany made us feel welcome. After getting situated with all our gear, we needed help !
As some of the phones did not work properly, we spent many trips to the desk for help in contacting our insurance carrier, getting a rental to finish our trip across country, taxi to U-Haul, etc. TIFFANY was exceptional in getting us the correct info and even letting us use her personal cell phone. Hats off and thumbs up for this GREAT employee. Such a treat to have the kindness of such a sweet gal.
What a KEEPER !!!

when I checked into a supposedly non-smoking room, it reeked of smoke. the sheets were dirty and had holes which appeared to be from previous smoking. when I found large dead bugs in bathroom, I called office and they moved me to another room. I found live roach in bathroom there, but didn't want to move again. I was also overcharged. They charge you for a room safe and you are supposed to ask for a refund at checkout if you don't use it. I asked for that refund but realized later instead of crediting the amount, they actually charged it again, I will certainly never stay there, or even at another Red Roof Inn again.
