Night away from the Children and a bit of luxury

We stayed at the Rathbone in October as a special treat for our anniversary, along with a night at The Royal Albert Hall.
The moment I rang with a query and on arrival I felt like a valued customer. We had a free upgrade (we chose the celebration package) to an absolutely amazing room with the most comfortable bed that I have slept in.
Each aspect if our stay was met with a smile and the staff could not do enough for us.
The hotel itself is absolutely beautiful and the quality of the surroundings and furnishings are of the highest quality, without making you feel uncomfortable and out of place, like some of the other quality hotels around.
For what we received both in terms of customer service and room quality, I believe what we paid was of great value. You also have to bare in mind the location which is near all the amenities and very close to Oxford Street.

Thank you to all at the Rathbone, we will certainly be back in the near future.

Excellent location, great service

Was staying on work at another property nearby. Moved to this hotel for one night as it was less expensive but in the same (very good) area.

Had booked via Expedia. Check-in was effortless. In fact had a taxi waiting for me, when I check-in. Took less than 5 minutes and I was in my room.

Was upgraded. I am not sure to which type of room but it was pretty large for London standards. Had a wooden ledge all around the room which is very convenient for putting your bags. Room otherwise had a decent sized TV, good TV selection, a writing desk and quite a few plug points.

Washroom was decent sized but the water could have been hotter.

Check out was super quick, 1 minute. Very early in the morning.

Service was excellent. Everyone smiled all the time. I didn't much time in the hotel. Between check-in and out was there for 11 hours.

Location is excellent.
