Every Delta Hotel I’ve stayed at has been nice! This property has just been remodeled and feels like a new hotel. The rooms are spotless and looked and smelled new. There are many places nearby to eat and there is a good restaurant in the hotel and of course room service. There are a lot of stores around and a movie theater close. They have a very large parking lot.

Stayed one night in this hotel enroute from Minneapolis. Location was a factor, as was the belief (misplaced) that this hotel brand was clean, reliable, and functioned to a high standard. It was the offseason, and the place was far from full. On arrival we simply checked in, dropped our bags, and went for dinner. It wasn't until later we discovered that the heating/cooling system in the room was, to say the least, 'finicky' and extremely noisy. We also realized too late that just outside our window were additional heating and cooling fans and mechanical systems that emitted a loud and annoying noise all night long. WHY on earth would we be given such a room (we paid for a King room) when others in far better locations were obviously available. Then we noticed water around the toilet and discovered that when flushed water gushed out of the tank. We mopped it up with towels and managed to 'fix' the problem ourselves - not tasks I expect to have to do in a good hotel. Needless to say our stay was very very disappointing, needlessly so. When we very calmly informed the front desk of what had occurred all we go was a tepid 'sorry - we'll make sure maintenance knows about the problems...have a nice day!" Well we did not have a nice stay. Problems do happen in the best of hotels, and guests who have experienced sub-standard experiences are usually compensated in some way. Even a token gesture such as a voucher for a breakfast on a subsequent stay, or a small discount on the room, would have indicated that the hotel was sincere in the apology, and encouraged us to consider staying there again. I can say without hesitation that I would never stay in this hotel again, despite the convenient location. And I will certainly make sure that my friends and family hear about this experience.
