A Ramada Inn with a full-service day spa? Yes, Galena’s Ramada Inn is not your average budget-friendly chain hotel. It’s got a lot more charm, much like Galena itself. There’s a welcoming lobby with a fireplace and cozy sitting area, a 67-foot indoor pool, plus a Jacuzzi. There’s something for everyone in the family at the full breakfast buffet — scrambled eggs, waffles, french toast, bagels and pastries, yogurt, fruit and juice. Another cost saving perk is the free Wi-Fi. There’s also one computer available for guests to use free of charge. The rooms come with cable equipped flat screen TV’s.
The largest rooms can accommodate a maximum of 5 people, with either a king bed and pullout couch or 2 queen beds. A rollaway bed can be added to the room for a $15 fee. The higher-end whirlpool fireplace suites have one king bed and outdoor patios. Pac-n-plays area available for free.
It’s about a 2 mile drive to downtown Galena’s Main Street and 15 minutes to the Chestnut Mountain ski area. When you tire of the skiing and shopping, consider relaxing at the hotel’s Indulge Day Spa, offering a full menu of services from manicures to massages.

Very friendly staff, helpful. Room was very clean and nicely decorated. Frig was provided. Must ask for microwave. Bed and pillows were very comfortable. Breakfast was disappointing however. If it wasn't for the waffles, I would've gone hungry.

We spent three nights at the Ramada Inn. We were very pleased with the room. I noticed that it has been renovated since our last stay a few years back. We had a very nice, comfortable stay. The only drawback is it does not have an elevator to the upper floor-just a grand staircase. If you have knee problems like I do, remember to ask for a lower level room. I managed through it nevertheless.
