Overview

The Radisson Blu Hotel & Spa is a 15-minute drive to Cork and close to Fota Wildlife Park. The hotel includes a holiday kids’ club, onsite playground, babysitting services, a dedicated kids’ swimming pool, board games, DVD rentals, free Wi-Fi, 24-hour room service, free parking, two onsite restaurants, and a special kids’ menu at Island Grillroom. Children 12 and under eat breakfast and dinner for free when accompanied by a parent.

For accommodations, families will like the larger connected family rooms that accommodate two adults and two kids, or three adults and three kids. All rooms come with a television and coffee/tea maker. Another perk is that children 16 and under stay for free when sharing a room with a parent, and cots and microwaves are available upon request.

Beautiful and modern hotel a bit outside of Cork

My husband and I stayed at the Radisson Blue near Cork in September 2019 and really enjoyed our stay! The hotel is very modern, there is ample parking around the building, and the room was very big! We also ate at the restaurant downstairs and our meal was delicious. All the staff we worked with were friendly and helpful. The only downside to this hotel is it might not be the best option if you want to walk to any restaurants/bars/attractions in Cork, as it is a little bit off the beaten track. If you don't mind driving, it is not too far!
