Turns out there is a Dungeness Crab & Seafood Festival all weekend, thus all the hotel rooms are booked up --- BUT --- The Quality Inn has two houses just across the street that they rent out. A room at the Inn was $250 a night per couple, but the house was $370 for all four of us. The house is very nice with two bedroom, two baths, living room and kitchen. There are 3 TV’s with one being a 42 “ in the living room. The Inn purchased two houses across the street properties from the local owners and maintain them (we are in house #2) in great 1970’s era splendor. Giving this home a 4.4 hinge rating (Tom’s 0-5 scale). Although the Quality Inn people can make the arrangements for the specific two houses they promote / maintain for the program (as they did for us yesterday when the inns rooms were full).

Stayed here last October and had a 2 Queen room on the bottom floor by the office. This year it was a 1 King room by the office. In the year in between stays, they moved all the 2 bed rooms to the upper floors in the building across the street from them. Non of their buildings have elevators and since I have bad knees, the king was my only option if I wanted to get my Choice points. They offered one of the houses they manage, but since they are not part of Choice I would not of gotten my points. Plus it have 4 or 5 steps to get into the house.
