We stayed here on Wednesday October 30th and Thursday the 31st. Couldn't believe the level of cleanliness and friendliness of the staff at such a low price point. Check in was easy and staff at the counter were friendly and informative about the area. We even got a king size bed upgrade. The room looks recently renovated. There is a small fridge and microwave in the room also. There is a small store in the lobby and two restaurants on the property. I can't say the quality since we didn't eat there. It is right across I-4 from Universal Studios which would be convenient. Overall a great place and a low cost. Would definitely stay here agaio.

I don’t understand the 4* & 5* reviews for this hotel? It is a basic room to stay which has all amenities including warm water and air conditioning in an ideal location however....

On arrival after a long journey we opened the door to be welcomed with a damp smell in the room which was due to the air conditioning unit which also proved to be noisey at night.

We are a family of 5 and the pic attached is the largest room available of which the hotel states that the rooms can accommodate 5 persons? Our travel agent sold it to us for a room that would accommodate 5 however when we arrived to find no 5th bed this was the second let down. So we went down to reception and told them the situation we found the attitude from the reception staff to be not rude but definitely not helpful and quite matter of fact so much so we were asked to pay for a ‘put up bed’ which we had already paid for. The next morning we phoned our travel agent to be advised they shouldn’t of charged us and our monies will be refunded which they were but we had to spend time phoning and stating the facts on our dream holiday which we could of done without. If you are a family of 5 please be advised you will have NO space in your room to walk around due to the put up bed positioned between the 2 double beds (see photo).

So after our first nights sleep we went down to breakfast to be advised our breakfast had not been paid for by Hayes Travel who had taken over from Thomas Cook of which we had not been advised by our travel agent. Hayes Travel we’re responsible for the payment as they had taken on the responsibility of our booking, however when we went to reception we were again greeted with just enough smile but no more and they didn’t seem to care that we were on our dream holiday wedged in like sardines and then to be told no breakfast!!

We spent a few hours ringing home again to ask the travel agent to get this sorted as it was now ruining our holiday. Our travel agent confirmed
payment had been made and we could continue as normal for the 14 nights which we did. Upon checkout we were then advised the breakfast had NOT been paid by Hayes Travel and was asked for a payment slot which I declined. I phoned the travel agent for the last time to advise and this is still being resolved by Hayes Travel.

Overall I am very fair as I am a businessman myself and understand what good service looks like. This is an average hotel with average food in a great location nothing more, if you are looking for a reasonable level of service with a smile I suggest you do some research. Definitely not suitable for 5 persons in a room and should not be advertised as so.
