Located near Great Smoky Mountains National Park, this hotel is also situated near Rocky Top Sports Complex and the Pigeon Forge Factory Outlet Mall. Ober Gatlinburg Ski Resort & Amusement Park is also not far from the hotel. The seasonal outdoor pool is a fun place for families to hang out after a day of exploring the town. The kids can swim and play while the adults relax and unwind on the surrounding pool deck chairs. The comfortable and spacious guestrooms feature one king or two queen beds, a microwave, mini-fridge, coffee maker and a flat screen television. With a rollaway bed, up to five people can fit comfortably in some of these guestrooms. Complimentary Wi-Fi access can be found throughout the hotel so everyone can stay connected. The free, hot breakfast is also a nice way to start each morning with items like eggs, pastries, cereal, yogurt and fruit.

We've stayed at the Quality Inn Creekside, at least 3 times in the last 10 years. We've never had any trouble with our room, until our most recent stay. We made our reservation back in July for 5 nights in Oct.. When we got there, we were given a room all the way at the end of the line, on a corner & set back from the rest. We thought it would be ok, until we entered. The room was a mess!!! There was no deadbolt on the room's door!! Ceiling had cracks & water stains, and was peeling everywhere. The lighting was horrible. The sink in the vanity wasn't draining. (had to call & have it unclogged) Had to make a trip to the office to get toilet paper each day/night. In 5 days, no one ever cleaned anything in the room. There was a table that was coming apart. There was an uncovered light over the bathtub. (just hanging. Most of these things were ignored by the office, even after we told them about ALL of it, on the morning of the 2nd day. I'm not even sure that they had put clean coverings on the bed, from the previous guest!!! One more thing, the fireplace would only work for a few minutes at a time, so we couldn't use it. There were lose wires, etc, laying on the fireplace floor. The only good thing we could find, this time, was that it's still in a good location. Will definitely stay somewhere else, next time!!
P.S. the attached photos only show a small part of the issues we encountered!

Ok...so when you have been going to Gatlinburg for 48 years I have stayed in many of their hotels and many times the same ones. I have stayed in nice and some worse. This would be in the above average of the spectrum. I love Calhoun's, Smoky Mountain brewery and Cherokee Grill and it is beside all of those. I like riding up to Ober and it is across the street. If you like Best Italian and Howards restaurant or Crockett Breakfast Camp it's a perfect location. I love hearing the sound of the river which I enjoyed listening to on the evening and early morning while drinking my coffee. The price was Great and the room was good enough. It was clean, water pressure was outstanding and the bed was comfortable. You are close enough to river rd and sugarland that you can get in n out easily and avoid the traffic if you want to go around it. The only problem we experienced was no parking space for us when we arrived late our last night there. The staff was helpful in having us park by office. It was only reason I didn't give it a 5.
