Basic, but clean and close to airport. It was worth more than I paid for it. It's three blocks from a McDonalds, near the highway leading to the airport, and the beds are comfortable, the shower has good pressure and lots of hot water, it is quiet, and the room was clean, I asked for and was provided a room on the first floor, the desk clerks were helpful, I felt safe high up on the hill where it is tucked. The parking lot was well lit. There was a hair dryer, a coffee maker, and great cable tv. When you're done with Birmingham and have a plane to catch the next day, this is a good choice.

This was the worst expereince we have had in our traveling life. We paid over $150 for this room because we were playing in a tournament. We had mold in our shower and bathroom was so dirty we couldnt even shower. We had to spray bug spray because there were bugs crawling on the walls right before we were going to go to sleep. My husband got food posisoning from the free contential breakfast because the food was not cooked to the right tempature. The floors in the room where dirty. I was traveling with a toddler and pregnant. No one should expereince this for what we paid for.
