Families looking for a budget hotel that doesn’t scrimp on amenities will find it at this newer hotel a few miles south of downtown Waco. The surprisingly roomy suites feature a separate bedroom and sitting area. You can get a king bed or two queen beds, plus a full sleeper sofa. Suites also include a mini-fridge, microwave, and coffee maker. Kids will love the indoor saltwater pool, even if it’s a bit small, and the muscle-soothing hot tub. There’s also a nice outdoor patio with BBQ grill if you’re in the mood to cook up some burgers. Other amenities include free Wi-Fi and a good-sized fitness center. The free breakfast is outstanding, and includes eggs, bacon, waffles, biscuits and gravy, fruit, and pastries.
The Quality Inn & Suites is located right off the interstate, about three miles from the Brazos River and many of Waco’s popular family attractions. There are several chain restaurants around your hotel that you can walk to in a pinch, and there are plenty more within a short drive. You’ll be 10 minutes from the amazing Cameron Park Zoo, home to over 300 species of animals, including meerkats, elephants, lions, and giraffes. A little further out of town and you’ll be looking at a few extinct animals at the Waco Mammoth National Monument, where 24 mammoth fossils have recently been uncovered. On a hot day, stop at the Hawaiian Falls Water Park. It’s small, but will cool the kids off. There’s plenty to do in Waco, and the Quality Inn & Suites is an economical and convenient place from which to explore during your family vacation.

Good location but don't trust Google maps for directions! Hotel is quiet even though near the interstate. I felt it was a little expensive for the quality of the hotel. Beds were comfy and breakfast was good.

hotel location is good but the hotel is showing age and wear and tear.
Staff was very helpful and pleasant and solved any issues we had.
Good for an short stay where you are going to be gone all day but in relation to price was pricey for what you got.
