Stayed here at very short notice due to our original hotel not receiving our reservation. This was the only hotel in the area that could accommodate 12 rooms late at night, and we were grateful that they could take us in.
The corridor I stayed on smelled strongly of weed, thankfully couldn’t smell it in the room.
The lift needs updating, some of the buttons didn’t illuminate so you had no idea if you were heading to the right floor or not.
Rooms had a strange fruity smell, as if too much cleaning product or air freshener had been used, wondered if it was covering up the smell of a dated room.
Air conditioning units are old and noisy, hard to find a balance to get the temperature right.
Beds comfortable!
Rooms were priced at $150 which I feel was too much for the standard of the property.
Breakfast was better than expected, hot options, breads/pastries etc., cereal, waffles. Plastic plates, cutlery and cups was disappointing!! Think of the planet!!
I shared the attached photo with reception as the plug sockets in room 405 were hanging off the wall and were a safety hazard. Difficult to understand how this hadn’t been noticed before?
A colleague went to his room to find someone already in there, hotel were not aware that they hadn’t checked out.
Day staff were really friendly and helpful, evening staff a little less so.
