The a staff is very pleasant, housekeeping seems to have dropped the ball, so has the owner/management, having stayed here off and on for years nothing has been changed or updated. The room cost is reasonable but now I see mould in mildew I’m the bathrooms , towels& shower curtains with stains . I’ve been checked into a room that was not made up or cleaned, I’ve had a room that didn’t have a shower curtain and had to ask for one , just to receive one out of dirty laundry.
In my opinion it seems they “owners/management “ isn’t putting $ into the facility.

We booked this hotel for a my sons wedding. The group rate was $150/night for a standard room which included a shuttle (yellow school bus) from the hotel to the wedding venue. The group rate was only available by calling the hotel directly. When I checked the price online I was surprised to find that the group rate $50/night extra even though the shuttle was only available on the Saturday night. We would save $100 by booking online which would more then pay for the 10 minute cab ride to/fro the wedding venue. We booked online and upgraded from a standard to a king suite with a separate sitting area which we needed to entertain our family before the wedding. Imagine our surprise when we arrived on Friday to discover we had a corner suite, which included a stove but no sofa. The room was actually smaller then the standard 2 queen bed room. When we explained the problem we had to show the confirmation letter which thank goodness showed the sofa and the bed configuration. There were no suites left so we could not get what we had originally booked and had confirmed. We spoke to the manager, she was sorry charged us for a regular room and gave us a bottle of sparkling wine as an apology. This was a nice gesture but in no one compensated for the fact that we could not have our family in our room while waiting for the wedding.
When we arrived at the wedding venue we found out that at least two people that had called for the group rate, had been charged for the Friday and Saturday even though they only wanted the Saturday. Lastly, my son had been told there would be one shuttle pick up at the hotel at 3:30 pm and 3 pickups from the venue, 11pm, 12pm and 1 am. Imagine our guests surprise when the driver informed them that his instructions were for one pick up at the hotel at 3:30 and one pick up at the venue at 1:00 am. The mother of the bride had to speak to the driver and did get the 2 extra pick ups.
I want to stress that the front desk, the manager and the bus driver were all courteous and understanding and in one way to blame for the mixups. Having said that there is something disconcerting when so many little things go wrong for one very special occasion.
