The sandy beach and calm shallow waters are just a few short steps from every unit and the town of Lahaina is also within walking distance. If the kids tire of the beach (doubtful!), there is an outdoor pool and plenty of lawn space for yard games and running around. The units are pristine with everything you could possibly need inside, including a washer and dryer, fully equipped kitchen, free Wi-Fi, board games, televisions, speakers and much more. Each of the 10, two-bedroom units at Puunoa Beach Estates is uniquely decorated, but all offer gorgeous ocean views. Complimentary Wi-Fi can be found throughout each unit. All of the units feature a large separate living room and dining area; private lanai with lounge chairs and a table; a fully equipped, gourmet kitchen with full-size refrigerator; a full bathroom in every bedroom; air conditioning; flat-screen televisions, and a washer and dryer. All of the condos feature king or queen beds in the bedrooms and some feature a sleeper sofa in the living room. Daily housekeeping services are provided throughout your stay.

Two-Bedroom Plus Loft
This second-floor unit features two bedrooms, plus an additional loft space with a queen bed. The loft is open, but is private and perfect for kids. This unit can sleep up to six people.

Three-Bedroom
The three-bedroom, three-bathroom unit features two bedrooms with king beds and third bedroom with a queen bed. This unit can sleep six people.

Beach
All of the units at this property are only a few short steps away from the golden sand beach called, Baby Beach, and shallow Pacific Ocean waters. Baby Beach, where many locals with young families often visit, features an offshore reef, which creates shallow and calm waters at all times. Kids can walk out quite far into the water and remain safe from large waves or deep water. There are large reef rocks in the waters, however, so while it makes for good snorkeling, swimming isn’t ideal. The water is clear enough to see and avoid the reef, too, which is nice. The coral rocks can be painful if kids rub or scrape into them so definitely avoid the reef rocks, but enjoy the calm waters and the amazing views of the islands of Lanai and Molokai directly in front of you. Beach chairs and towels are provided.

Pool
The freshwater, outdoor pool is heated and only a short walk from all of the units. There is a whirlpool nearby and also a poolside BBQ for when you want to get the grill going for dinner. The pool area is on the small side, but features lounge chairs and tables with chairs and an umbrella. The pool is open from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily and a key is needed to enter. There are no lifeguards on duty. Towels are provided.

Games
Board games, books, movies and more are in most of the units, waiting for families to enjoy.

Since all of the units at this property feature fully equipped kitchens, there are no onsite restaurants. However, families can find numerous restaurants lining Front Street in Lahaina town, which is less than a 10-minute walk from the property.

The Best Time to Visit
December to February can be rainier and cooler, with highs in the 70’s and 80’s, but this is also the busy season. June through September are the hot months, with highs in the high-80’s during the day.The quiet months on Maui are mid-March through May and all of September.

Getting There
The Kahului Airport, the main airport on Maui, is situated about 40 minutes from the property. Lahaina town is about a two-minute drive or less than 10-minute walk from the property.

Getting Around
Families are just steps away from the beach, ocean and pool from any of the units. The gated property is situated in a residential area and is secure. The town of Lahaina, which offers numerous shops and restaurants, is just a short walk away and there are sidewalks along the way, making it convenient for strollers.

A rental car is needed if you plan to leave the property or explore more outside of Lahaina town. If you would like to explore the island of Maui, a rental is needed, but if you plan to sit on the beach during the day and walk into town each night, a rental car is not needed when staying here. Taxis, while expensive, are readily available at the airport.

Lahaina town is only a short walk away and features several bars where the adults can enjoy a Mai Tai or beer.
