This very small, family run hotel is made up of several bungalows near the beach. Families will find the Sea View Double Bungalow with a double bed and a queen bed and the Casita with a king bed and a twin bed are the most appropriate for families. The Casita has a kitchenette. All of the guestrooms include air conditioning, private bathrooms, free breakfast, and Wi-Fi. Guests have access to the private dock that extend 200 feet out into the water for fishing, snorkeling, swimming, and lounging in one of the beach chairs. The front desk is staffed 24 hours a day.

Perfection!

My friend and I stayed at Puerta Azul for a week and we loved every minute of it! We stayed in a beachfront bungalow which was mere steps to the beach. Augusta and Harris were immensely helpful and went above and beyond to ensure our vacation was perfect. Augusta arranged anything we needed, and her breakfasts were delicious. There were kayaks and SUPs available for use, and the guest kitchen was an added bonus. All in all it was a fantastic holiday. Thanks Augusta!!!

We had a great time at Puerta Azul in Sandy Bay! Augusta and Harris took great care of us! The bungalows were very clean, the ocean view was amazing and Augusta and Harris made awesome breakfasts for us every morning. We would recommend Puerta Azul to anyone heading to Roatan.
